Ok, let's face it: I don't blog here anymore. I have too many things on my plate, but do have other sites you can check me and my untraditional views at.

First there's my new design site, interhuss designs. The following is an über short video which is meant to be ad-like. Needless to say, it doesn't tell you much, but in short summation, a design site containing all of my image manipulations, photography, Gimp brushes, graphics, poetry, lyrics, and other general writings.

Next on the docket is The Coming Out Godless Project. For those of you who have "come out" as an atheist to yourself and/or others. Submit your own story or read others. Comments and visitors of all philosophical stances are welcome.

And of course, there's always Atheist Hussy, a place for rants and occasionally short essay-type blogs.

Underneath these fleshy walls, these cellular points of growth, unknown things transpire. Caught in the net, flowing flying fleeing. Caught, surrounded. Enveloped by the massive sky. Spirals towards and away from these lights.

They're seeking the little signs that flicker and wain among the vast crowds of empty shells. Voices live on, but they have none. Sounds undulating between the distance and the speed. Sounds. Tiny voices disguised as mumbles and bumbles, dragging on in waves. Across the sea, land, and sky. Through the clouds, among every blade of grass, lost in a stagnant murk. Vibrations within..without..within. Sounds glossed over with a fine, sharp glaze. Unclear, un-dissected.

The Unique Complexity of Intoxicating Behavior

All intoxicants. We know that everyone is always seeking to alter one's consciousness in one form of another; we have since we understood we could. Yet when do we consider the outcome, effects, and recovery process. Alcohol has the most infamous and well-understood (or at least most mentioned) of the recovery processes. Then it comes down to this: everything (other than a small amount) gets you where you want to be and then leaves you dry.

So, why do we do it? Is the feeling so good that it makes up for the recovery process? Or do we just forget?
